Accessibility

Last updated: September 2026

Niwa Therapy Centre is committed to providing services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11).

Our website

We design this site to be usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, and browser zoom, and we aim to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA where practicable. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, tell us — we will fix it or give you the information another way.

Accessible formats and communication supports

On request, we will provide information about our services in an accessible format or with communication support, at no additional cost. That might mean large print, a plain-language summary, information read aloud by phone, or another arrangement that works for you.

Accessible therapy

Sessions are virtual. We offer video or telephone, whichever suits you better. If you use assistive technology, a support person, or an interpreter, tell us before your first appointment and we will make arrangements. We do not charge for a support person’s attendance.

Support persons

Because services are virtual, a support person is welcome to attend with your consent.

Feedback

We want to hear where we fall short. Contact us at hello@niwatherapy.com. We will respond within 5 business days and in a format that works for you.
